Vacuum chamber assembly
The superradiant laser optical cavity spacer has been made and polished by the laboratory optician Thierry Billeton. Furthermore, the vacuum system is now assembled, but for the cavity.

Welcome to Thomas Lauprêtre, starting his post-doctoral research on the chromium project!
Welcome to Ziyad Amodjee, the first post-doctoral researcher joining the superradiant laser experiment!

We have achieved coherent control of the SU(10) spin, with the implementation of adiabatic transfer between selected spin states in the degenerate gas. This puts us one step closer to exploring the emergence of correlations in our system, following the ideas developed in our collaboration with T. Roscilde and his team.
Welcome to Benjamin Pasquiou, new permanent member of the group!
Welcome to Husain Ahmed, joining us for a PhD on the strontium apparatus!
Welcome to Grégoire Coget, research engineer, taking on the challenge of the design and construction of this machine!
Congratulations to Lucas Gabardos that just completed his PhD!
First experimental results using the degenerate Fermi gas! We used spin-orbit coupling to selectively manipulate and probe up to four selected spin states at once. We also present our new quantum gas machine setup, down to T/Tf ~ 0.2. Check it out here!

We propose to realize a novel quantum simulator made of magnetic atoms in periodic potentials, which will enable the investigation of quantum-many body problems associated with long-range dipole-dipole interactions.
